Sunsational Stamps DT Project - Ocean Critters

Yesterday it was my turn to share a project on the Sunsational Stamps Blog and this the card I posted.

I used the 'Ocean Critters' digi stamp set which you can find here
I printed the whole set out ad then used the bottom two critters plus the wave as my card base.  I then cut out the little octupus and attached him with foam tape to give the card some dimension.
All the elements were coloured with Promarkers and then layered up with some plain and patterned papers.
Talking of the ocean .... have you seen our May challenge yet?  The theme is 'swim - beach - ocean' and you can enter using any products although you will get extra entries in the draw if you use products from Sunsational Stamps.

Have a look here for all the details.

Path of Positivity Challenge Reminder - Present Not Perfect

It's time for our mid challenge reminder post on the Path of Positivity Challenge - our theme this month is 'present not perfect'.

This is what Lisa has said about the theme here on our challenge blog:

"Our challenge for you this month is to step out of your perfection zone and be positive about what you have to contribute! Perhaps you visit the site and enjoy the work of others and share something with us for the first time! Maybe you’ve shared many times, but now you will try a new technique you’ve been afraid to try for fear of failing. Possibly you’ve wanted to try doing a video or pictorial teaching aid to go along with your art. Another idea, is to make a sympathy or encouragement card for someone who might need to know you are thinking of them. Don’t worry about the perfect words; a lovely picture can go a long way to convey your thoughts. Of course, you could always share a card encouraging someone else to step out of their zone or letting them know just how wonderful they are just by being present in your life!"

And our wonderful sponsors this month are:

and

For my card I've used a digi stamp set from Imagine That Digis called 'Freda's Flower Basket' - you can find it here on their website.

I coloured the digi with Promarkers and then used paper and a sentiment which accompany the digi stamp.

Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can't Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4th of May 2009.

We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with several Guest Designers who join us for a month or a week at a time.

We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.
